Okay folks it ain't much but I really liked the way it ended up ... I'm still loading the left column with news articles ... although there are still too many bugs and it falls somewhat short when it comes to bigger volumes of posts ... WordPress is a simple and easily implemented news service with lots of very useful add ons ...

I don't have any idea what any of this says, but it is quite possibly the most annoying collection of stuff I have ever seen. The first page doesn't link to anything, so I'm not sure what it does. The main site is so filled with gadgets and bookmarks that it takes forever to load and it is migraine inducing when you finally see it all in living color. No thanks.

Yeah but it's got shortcuts ... something not applied by most Word Pressers ... and there are no repeated links or functions ... I've check it and it takes less than a minute to load on broad band ... but it's quite slow for phone line internet connections; apart from this ... our news service was meant to service our intranet community ... which is connected by fiberglass cables at the astounding speed of 100 Mps .... it's a clean layout with hardly any decorative elements ... apart from this, the WordPress platform is just the news service of our main page http://wwww.uff.br/peteconomia/ ... and the group that asked me to do it did like it very much ... so I'll keep it like it is and most problably add a few more annoying gadgets ... they're useful and do incorporate functionality to our news service ... but many thanks for your views ...
