I have just updated to the 2.6 version of WordPress, not having been using the 2.5.1 for very long before that, and I do not seem to be able to post images in my posts. The flash uploader works as the images appear in the Gallery and the Media Library, however when I click on the "Insert Into Post" button, the scripted window that I am using turns all white other than the black line at the top with the X. If I click in the background, the window appears, and I cannot get an image to appear in my posts for the life of me now!

Actually, I had already tried everything from that post, none of it seems to address the white/blank page when I click the "Insert Into Post" button, the flash uploader replacement plugin didn't solve the problem either. As 2.6 already has a browser upload function, it seemed to just default to that instead of defaulting to the flash. The results are the same, the image is in the Media Library and the Gallery, but when I click "Insert Into Post", the browser finishes what it thinks it needs to do (supposedly), and the window turns white/blank. No image is submitted to the post.

I use the noflash uploader + tinymce advanced plugin in 2.6 - no probs. from media gallery
It might be worth checking what happens if you use tinymce or if you disable some plugins in case of conflicts
