    could you try going to Settings > Permalinks and then save without changing anything?
    This will update all permalinks.

    Having same problem as TO; my cache folders are empty and there’s no way to revalidate them.

    Can you see if this happens when you set the gallery folder outside the uploads folder?

    I’ve restored a backup of the _cache folders and in my case that restored functionality. Strikes me as odd that they don’t repopulate themselves if found empty and world-writable. Bug, perhaps?
