My blog is for publishing images; usually one largish image per post. I’d like to have the latest post displayed, with the image on a static front page.

I am fairly code-ignorant, however i do get the idea that this plugin generates a line of code that i should copy ‘into my page’.

Problem 1: I’ve tried generating some code and pasted it into a page and nothing results except part of the code appears as text on the page.

Problem 2: I don’t have any idea how to get what i want from the plugin settings. The help popups give descriptions but no guidance. I notice others who’ve asked ‘how do I use this?’ have been oven unencouraging responses but perhaps someone might kindly describe how to do the particular thing I want?

Any help appreciated. If I’m out of my depth and should look elsewhere, sure, let me know that too. Thanks.

Yea, sorry. There used to be a few tutorials, until I couldn’t host the site anymore which was about the same time I added all those Info Dialogs. Plus, I haven’t had much of any chance to get a wiki up and running because I’ve been so busy.

However, I do have some things already written up still, which i plan on putting on GitHub. I just need to allocate some time to update the info and figure out a format to place the pages. With GitHub, others can modify or request an add for the wiki pages. I kind of need more contributors since most of my time is spent on the backend.

For how advanced/exceptional the plugin is. I’ve been trying my best to keep it simple(which i could always use input on). It’s really a touch balance considering i’m trying to keep all the potential.

For now, I really can’t do much of anything at the moment. I need to go through and push a couple fixes before the weekend is over.

Although, what you are explaining i believe can be achieved, but it is pretty complex.

Try making 2 presets, the first for one large image post, and the second for the remaining style WITH Exclude Duplicates checked.

Not ideal in my opinion, I would rather use 1 preset, but it works for now.

    Thanks will investigate.
