Does anyone know if there’s a way to use Wordfence to restrict access for users in certain countries to WP-admin and WP-login pages by country, while leaving all public facing pages on the site accessible to users in those countries?

I searched the boards and couldn’t find the answer to this question. I’m a premium Wordfence subscriber, so I have access to the advanced country blocking, but it wasn’t clear to me if this was possible within that framework.

If this isn’t possible, I’d love to see this consider for a future release. While I love users from other countries to read my site, there will never be a (valid) reason from someone outside my own country to log into the back end.

  • I second that. Great idea. So much of the brute force attacks are coming from elsewhere.

    Hi

This is available in our country blocking feature in the premium edition. We license a geo ip database which is why it was added to the paid version. You can block access to the whole site or just the login form. You can also choose to redirect them to another site if you wish (like Google, etc) Hope this helps.
