Auto Refresh

    We have experienced an issue on your site where you have to keep refreshing the plugin page to see if we have a site visitor that has initiated chat.

    Is there no way that the plugin can refresh the visitor page automatically when a new chat is initiated ?

    Or lets say every 30 seconds, because we are missing chats from customers because the chat visitors page does not update without manually refreshing the page.

    Lively Chat does update without refreshing the page (both the admin area and the chatbox). If you’d like me to take a closer look, invite me (dallas@excitecreative.ca) to the WP Admin area through the Users page.

    I just went in to have a peek and Lively wasn’t installed.

    it is installed we deactivated it as it was not auto refreshing and customers were sending chat request and we are not getting them, if you want to reactive the plugin please do so you can test it.

    Thanks. I had a peek. It worked for me. I suspect that you didn’t set an “Active” agent in the “Agents” tab. When you reactivate, make sure you visit the Agents page and check off an agent’s Active box. I’ll see how I can avoid this issue in the future.
