  • From just one post you mean? I don’t think you can delete the link thenm, just go to “manage” “post” and check that there is no commenting to that post (bottom of the page).

    you can remove the comment link but thats alot of work and hacking

    basic idea is, you add a “no comment” tag to the post

    and in the home, and single post you want to check if the post has that tag, and if so remove the comment link

    <?php $key=”nocomment”; echo

    i think when you search the forum you can find the answer

    Yes. Just the sticky post on the opneing page. I want to remove the link which says: “There are no Comments – let me hear yours! »” But only from the sticky.

    It is not a matter of removing comments, but removing to ability to comment from the sticky announcement on the opening page.
    Thanks,

    I am afraid I do not understand your reply.

    I know, but taking the comments option out, it is out for ALL posts. What you CAN try to do is to get rid off the “there are no comments” line, so when there are no comments, it just says nothing. That’s not ideal either, because (again) this goes for all posts.

    It is not a matter of removing comments, but removing to ability to comment from the sticky announcement on the opening page.

    That’s what I describe, but then you’ll probably will get a “sorry, comments are closed” text. Then again, you could remove that…

    Just thinking out loud.
