  • Hi Mike,

You have the menu using white lines and a white background on top of a white background on the home page so of course you are not going to see it.

You will need to either set it to have a background colour or change the colour of the lines so you can see them on top of the white background. I can still click on it and it works fine for me.

On the portfolio page it seems that the stylesheets and scripts are not being included, can you make sure that wp_head() is included in the header.php file and that there is nothing over-writing this inside the portfolio page. Also, clear any site caches you may have.

If you don’t know how to do this then please provide FTP and WP Admin details via email and I will look into this for you.

    Many thanks

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the quick reply. I have the colours not white on the admin side but didn’t change the colours of the lines etc.

I totally forgot to put the WP_head() in thanks for that.

Could you send me your email so I can send you WP Admin login and if you still need FTP setup. But not sure why the colors are not changing for the three bars.

    Thanks,

    Hi Peter,

Even tried to overwrite some of the code in my stylesheet but didn’t work even when clicking the remove !important tags.

Any other suggestions. I guess I could edit the plugins CSS file if absolutely needed.

    Hi Mike,

My email is hello@peterfeatherstone.com. I’ll check the WP side of things first and if I cant see any solutions from there then I will need FTP.

    Let me know

    Peter

I too am unable to see any element of the responsive menu, however I can see it is in place in the page source.

I have a white site and have added colours to all areas in the responsive menu.

    Cleared the cache.

Checked that WP_head() is in place.

I have also tried changing the menu breakpoint and location settings.

Not sure what else to try?

If you could provide any assistance, it will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    LOVE your plugin, Peter!

I had the same problems as mbond5, but got it straightened out as you suggested and also by hiding the WP Toolbar (hover over the “Howdy, YourName” in upper right corner, click on Edit My Profile, uncheck/untick “Show Toolbar when viewing site”.

    Thanks for a wonderful plugin!

dang, I tried that too, but it’s still not showing up for me. Could it be a jquery conflict?

Figured it out! Theme didn’t have ‘wp_footer’. Duhhhhh…

Glad you figured it out, bsmalldesign! 🙂

Mind if I ask what theme it was?

    Hello Heather,

Actually I am not using his plugin.

I just used some javascript and CSS3 in my theme and created it from scratch in the header.php file.

The theme is my own custom theme I’m in the progress of developing.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Very cool about your theme, Mike! I hope you’ll ping us when it’s ready; I’d love to see it 🙂

    Hi there,

My apologies for the unusually late reply to your support request.

I have just gone back from a long, well deserved holiday!

Please let me know if any of you still require assistance with the plug-in and I will be more than happy to help!

    Many thanks

    Peter
