    Hi there,

Just installed WPMUDEV Membership to find out that there is a conflict with this plugin and Events Manager.

I see the latest changelog for Events Pro says it has sorted out this conflict.

Can I assume that the free version, which I am using, still has a conflict? I guess that is a stupid question as I have the latest Events version…and I have a conflict…

Is there a solution for this or would just be best to purchase the WPMUDEV Events plugin?

Would prefer not to as I have already added all events and locations etc.

    Any advice?

  • Hi,

What version of Events Manager are you using?

    mmmm…that would be Version 5.5.3

What kind of conflict are you seeing? That was fixed quite a while ago in the Pro version. Are you using the Pro version?

Unfortunately not the Pro version. I ‘inherited’ this site from another developer and he had used the free version 🙁

The conflict I am seeing causes the backend to shut down (white screen) as soon as I activate both plugins. The site front end works fine though.

What caused the original conflict? Is there not something I can edit in order to resolve the problem?

Unfortunately, I don’t know what the problem was or what the fix is.

I’m slightly confused – are you see this with the free plugin, or with an old version of the Pro add-on?

The free version as mentioned above. If the problem “was fixed quite a while ago in the Pro version” how do you not know what the problem was?

you can try to enable wp_debug or check your php logs to see if there’s any other error.

Good suggestion. Seems to be working so far. Memory exceeded error. Increased that via .htaccess

    Thanks for helping 🙂
