    @ttacwm:
    Hi there, thanks for your feedback!

    Which plugin settings are enabled and which not?

    I cannot reproduce such behavior yet, where I use the plugin, footer widgets work like expected.

    Which version of Prose child theme is in use?
    Can you give the URL of your site?

    Thanks, Dave.

    After looking further it appears when a page is set on full content, the footer is displaying correctly at the bottom, but when the right side part is which is the case with the home page and post pages, the footer shows under the right side bar rather than the bottom or the page.

    Correction to my previous message.

    Footer widgets are working properly on full content pages, but not the posts and pages set with content/sidebar.

    I appreciate any help.

    Dave,
    Would the Genesis Widgetized Footer pluggin possibly be a work around for the issue I am having above with my footers not showing up on the home page and other pages set on Content-sidebar? I’m thinking I could not use the footer widgets that come with Prose and use this widgetized footer pluggin instead. What do you think?

    @ttacwm:
    Hi!
    I did more testing and cannot reproduce any issue with that. My plugin does not touch any footer widgets, not for old Prose 1.0 version and not for 1.5.x versions of Prose!
    The only setting regarding footer widgets is a conditional if statement for is_home() and is_front_page(), it does not manipulate Footer Widgets at all!

    Do you have any other code active via snippets, Prose Custom Code or functions.php that does any modification of Genesis core code, including footer widgets?

    In which way the footer widgets are declared, is still an old “footer-widgeted.php” active and loaded in your prose child theme folder?
    If not, are the footer widget areas displayed in the Widgets Admin (via “Appearance -> Widgets” in admin? If yes, are there any widgets placed in all 3 areas, especially in the “Footer 1” area? — I curently cannot see footer widgets on your site URL.

    Did you test if any other plugins conflict with your site?
    Please let Genesis, Prose and my plugin active, and deactivate all other plugins, then re-activate those one after one to see if one is conflicting.

    Also, did you try to upgrade your install to Prose 1.5.2 which is the current version, also Genesis to version 2.0.2 which is the newest?

    @ttacwm:
    Hi!

    Regarding my “Genesis Widgetized Footer” plugin:
    As in the description of that plugin stated, it does NOTHING for the Genesis “Footer Widgets”, it “only” does make the copyright line and the old “back to top” line widgetized!

    The Genesis Footer is consists by default of Copyright and “Back to Top” (for non-HTML5 child themes), this is where my plugin comes in. The area reserved in Genesis core code for the “Footer Widgets” is DIFFERENT from the regular footer line.

    Hope that helps 🙂

    Thanks, Dave.

    I resolved the issue. After removing all my widgets and plugins and adding them back in one by one, I found that the widget code for an email service I use (Constant Contact) is a bad code and affected how my footer widgets where displayed.
