   Is there a plug-in or hotkey to allow saving while in full screen editing mode?

   Unfortunately, I can't search the plug-ins because the search feature here is not working properly.

   I was searching the net again for a solution to this and was sad to see that Google put my first original post here as one of the initial results, but of course, there is no solution yet. :/

   Does anyone have any suggestions?

   No, it can't be done. Full screen takes over the whole screen, to save you have to switch back out of it.
