Hi All, I upgraded to 2.6 and now I am having the titles show up below and some strange tag shows up instead of the image?
You can see here what I mean :

At the top you see a text piece that says: -image-Quotations

Please help, anybody know whats going on? I upgraded from 1.5.1

Ps/ It appears that it is just this text that shows up “-image-“

    ???

It appears as if your ‘post’ title was altered.

    The coding is presently this:

    <h2 id="post-5"><a href="http://incommunion.org/articles/-2/quotations" rel="bookmark">-image-Quotations</a></h2>

Check the ‘Permalinks’ section in the Admin page, under ‘Settings’. I noticed there are permalinks issues with my 2.6 install too… so I had to revert to the ‘Default’ setting, which is http://DOMAIN NAME.com/?p=123

    Give that a try.

Hey thanks for the response, i will check it out and report back. 🙂

    ps

Sorry moderator for the double post, I thought I was lost in the haystack…

Did you have any plugin that interfered with the posts titles?
Something that makes post titles “images” or something that inserts an image for each image?

Maybe now it is deactivated or not compatible with 2.6.

Hmm, no go on restoring the permalinks to Default, however I noticed something interesting. At this link the problem of -image- does not occur. http://incommunion.org/contents/mother-maria

but does on all others which link in the following So its the articles versus the contents?
