Here's my error message
Warning: wp_update_plugins(/home/content/K/n/o/Knots58/html/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/K/n/o/Knots58/html/wp-includes/update.php on line 101
WTF does that mean? I was doing an upgrade and this is where I end up. I'm a novice so I imagine that there's an easy solution I don't understand..please help
Looks like the ftp might have failed.
/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php
Check that all files inside /wp-admin/includes/ really did upload.
You can do this by comparing in your ftp program.

thanks.. went to admin login and it prompted for the upgrade of the database. tried to up grade and got this message
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare validate_current_theme() (previously declared in /home/content/K/n/o/Knots58/html/wp-includes/theme.php:534) in /home/content/K/n/o/Knots58/html/wp-admin/admin-functions.php on line 1111
obviously, I've got ftp problems..what other folders should I double check?
