Since the update to version 2.3 the functions.php in the Duena theme is reset to zero (0) size. I verified this by turning off the GUA plugin and had no issues for three days. Turned it back on last night and within two hours the site was down again. I FTPd back in and noticed that once again the mentioned file is was once again zero. Everything worked fine before the 2.3 update.

Did you see any errors displayed? What options did you select in plugin’s settings?

No errors displayed and my host looked into it also.

Had both GA and GUA turned on with default settings.

Need to keep the site up through the weekend. I can do more troubleshooting next week if you wish.

I have verified three times that it is this plugin causing the issue. I suppose it could also be an issue with the theme but it only appears when plugin is activated.

Thanks for getting back to me so quick, Bob

    Hello Bob,

I am taking this feature from the plugin at least for a while. Others are experiencing issue with it as well. I will re-introduce it when I figure out what the problem is. I will let you know!

Thanks for the follow-up. I assume you will either be rolling back the version or upgrading to 2.4 in the near future?

    Hello Bob,

There is an update available right now – 2.3.0.2 version. Can you confirm that it solves the issue?

I checked use in footer option from plug-in settings and it conflicts with my function.php

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’ in /home/namesite/public_html/wp-content/themes/wootique/functions.php on line 89

What can I do to fix this because I do not have acces not eaven to my admin because of this error!

I deleted the files from plugin folder and put new ones.. but the problems is in the database … so I think!

    Please advise!

Did you use the latest plugin version? What other options did you use?

Well, plugin is not using MySQL so I don’t think it should affect your database.

it is the woocommerce option! that is the problem! I recovered my database from my provider and checked the options one at a time… it turns out that Woocommerce option is to blame!

you where wright it did not affect the database.. it did mess with the files in woocommerce! I do not know where, exactly!

    agapian,

All I had to do to resolve the issue was disable the plugin and replace the function.php with a backup copy and all was well.

Bobwadd is right, just replace functions file. Also, delete the old plugin version and install the latest version. There is some extra functionality added so that WooCommerce option would not mess functions.php file again.

I did! It does the same with the new version! i deleted it it is no use for me! Sorry!
I restore my site with a backup!
