This issue is similar to this post for 2.5

Just upgraded to WP2.6. Basically, it displays 0 comments for all posts even though there are comments for the posts. If any new comments come in, the comment count is updated correctly.
Anyone knows of a fix? Tks.

Howdy!
Same here and as note by bunches of others...
2.6 installed and migrated the Blog content from TypePad. Posts comments show "0 Comments" when in fact there are comments and has NOT updated since new comments have been added -- still showing "0 Comments". Is this a TypePad to WP thing?
I tried the fix at the above URL and still no go! Tried deactivating plugins -- no change. I've worked on a ton of WP Blogs and never ran into this before...
I've read everything here to no avail and would really appreciate if anyone has any info, a fix or can point me in the right direction!
