It is really not the plugin doing this. If do believe you have to be logged in in order to accept a friend request. Logic is that if your logged out and you have a friend request how does WP/BP know you are the one that is being requested as a friend. I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks for the reply

Isnt the plugin supposed to redirect ALL bp pages to the slug we specify ?

All other bp pages seem to redirect to, in my case wp-login.php which works grea,t except the link in the friend request email doesnt get redirected.

I want them to be passed to a login page, rather than a 404 error.

The same way on facebook for example, if you arent logged in you get an email it takes you to a login page before seeing content…

Understand if this is out of the scope of the plugin, however does seem to work on all other bp pages for me, just not this one.

Have you tried deactivating my plugin to see if the issue persists? Please report back!

    Hi

I disabled and the problem still pursists..

So I guess its not your plugin.

I just thought the plugin would solve as ANY bp pages should get redirected with your plugin to wp-login ?

Thanks again sorry if this isnt your plugins fault

It is okay, I understand your frustration. I am sorry I can’t be of more help but unless I had an exact replica of your site on a live server there is really nothing I can do so I apologize. As I stated before I am fairly certain you need to be logged in to accept friend requests. Have you tried the forums on buddypress.org to get a second opinion? I would try that. Good luck!
    Sincerely,

Thanks Yeah I will try the buddypress forums

I understand you need to be logged in, but would be nice for buddypress to work out if you aren’t that you need to be directed to a login…

    Thanks again
