Local Dev with subdirectories?

    Is there a preferred method for setting up a local multisite installation, using subdirectories? I prefer to use subdirectories, rather than subfolders on my production sites and from my understanding this can get hairy on a local setup. I have set up local multisite installs using subfolders.

    Do you mean Subdomains? A sub directory and a sub folder is the same thing 🙂

    I edit my etc/hosts file to point the subdomains to the location of my main domain, so ipstenu.dev and foo.ipstenu.dev are all pointing to the same place 🙂
