    Hi guys,

    1. I have a static ip address

    2. I have setup domain URL forwarding (cloaking) on my registrar’s “name servers” panel, to my static ip address (eg “123.456.789.123” ) by adding the following
    a. http://<this field blank>.<domain name>.com.au (allows user to get to domain without using “www” in front of domain)
    b. http://www.<domain name>.com.au

    3. I have wordpress multisite setup on my apache LAMP server here at home with 4 sites on it (subdirectories)

    Issues
    1. if i enter “www.domain.com.au/wp-admin” i get a blank screen?

I can get to the networked sites by using the following
    <network domain name>/subdirectory

I cannot get any of the admin logins on the subdirectory sites to work either (just come up with blank screen)

If i click on the login link on the subdirectory home pages…nothing happens (its as if the hyperlink on the login isnt working)

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Turn on debugging in the wp-config.php and see if you get anything.

Also what happens at wp-login.php ?

And finally…. did this work at all BEFORE multisite was active? That you have networked sites implied it did, so what changed.

    Hi thanks for responding.
Login.php gives me a blank screen also.
The server has had no changes. It was, and still is running multisite flawlessly if I enter my “static ip address” in browser to get to site. However, if I try to use the domain name (forwarded to this ip address from my registrar) the pages all work but it seems as if php does not work.

The only change I have made is the domain name forward to my static ip address.

I am wondering if perhaps wordpress is thinking I have done a site move to new server because of the domain name in the browser instead of ip address? (Even though I haven’t changed anything on server at all)

wp-login.php – The name is important.

Yes. And you did move it. By changing what the browser shows (that is the IP and not the domain) you’ve effectively moved WP.
