Merging wp_users and wp_usermeta for two blogs (not multisite)

    Hi,

    It seems there’s a lot of conversation about multi-site but all I want to do is import the users and their very important metadata from oldblog to newblog.

    Note that newblog already has some users so I do NOT want to OVERWRITE the existing databases, just ADD TO THEM.

    (Posts and everything else is already merged. Note this is not about post authorship these are user-visitors who have passwords and particular access privileges set in wp_usermeta.)
