Role Limit?

    Hello,

    Is there a limit to the number of roles that can be created? I’m attempting to use the BuddyPress members directory, in which the php will be modified to only show certain roles.

    In example, if I only want to show Photographers in Los Angeles, I will use AAM to create the role “Photographers- Los Angeles”. Likewise, if a user is searching for photographers in Miami, I will create the role “Photographers- Miami”. Since we might include other classes (Artists, Filmmakers, Musicians, etc) in each city, you can see how the number of needed roles exponentially increases.

    Hi centbanc,
    There is no limitations for number of roles. The only limitation is database longtext limitation, but I’m sure you are not going to create thousands of role.
