Archive Pages display all posts

    I recently encountered a problem with my blog where both the archive and category pages show all posts (ex. May 2008 shows posts from July, June, and May instead of just May). If I switch themes the problem is solved, so I assume it is a issue within my theme, but I cannot find it.

    I will be happy to provide code for any necessary sections to fix the problem.

    Any ideas? I have tried and tried and tried to figure it out and am totally stuck.

    Care to post the broken theme’s archive.php code in here? That would help 🙂

    thanks for the reply nublooo.

    I actually just had a break through about 2 hours ago.

    I had added a line of code that restricted the number of posts on the archive page and for some reason it was messing everything else up.

    Once I removed it everthing worked fine again.
