Latest posts alignment gets messed up.

I will try to describe the multiple visual errors – snippets of my latest posts are misaligned and displayed along the top part of the home/static page with images missing while some are partly cut off by the header.

I’m not sure if it helps but what I see is mimicked when I click on the “preview” button on the Sequel description page in the Themes Directory.
