• I loved the look and functionality of the calendar, but it slowed my entire site down, where I was getting complaints about how slow it was. Once I removed the calendar, there was a dramatic performance difference.
Sadly, i had to remove it from all my sites, and replace with something else.

I couldn’t update any plugins, unless I deactivated this one first… many times it broke the plugins page.

  • Just curious, what alternative did you use?
I loved the All-In-One Event Calendar but 2.0 is a nightmare to reinstall and configure.

    Thanks!

I used MyEventOn on some sites, and embeded a google calendar on other sites.
MyEventOn is really nice looking and has great features, like automatically making and event page, but you can’t “subscribe” to the calendar, and the full calendar doesn’t show the events on it, you have to click on a date, and then the events show up.

Google calendar you can subscribe to – and it shows all the events as links on the full calendar, but if you want “more details”, it goes to a blank google page, not very nice looking. Pros and cons to both.
