I would recommend installing this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/velvet-blues-update-urls/
And updating all of the URL’s by activating it, then going to Settings -> Update URLs. You will then be able to run a URL update to change all http:// to https://
Awesome. I will make a full backup of my website and give it a try.
Any other suggestions on making the new images being added with a relative URL? I saw a plugin that does that, but just checking if there is other ways of doing it safely.
I haven’t personally, some looking brought up this plugin though with very good ratings you might try:
Relative Image URLs: http://wordpress.org/plugins/relative-image-urls/
Root Relative URLs: http://wordpress.org/plugins/root-relative-urls/
The first I saw, the second I will take a look.
Thks again!
Another question: instead of changing the URLs to https://, may it wouldn’t be better to just change it to a relative a URL? Changin the http:// to just /wp-content/ and so forth?
That should work as well :).
