Lightbox with Pagination – not connecting to following pages

When using pagination on a 188 image gallery at 15 images per page, the lightbox only displays images 1-15 on the first page. Once you reach the 15th image, you must close the lightbox and then click to the following page, then click on a thumbnail to open the lightbox, and so on and so on. Is there a way to continue to the 16th image and 31st image and so on without having to close the lightbox and reopening it by clicking on a thumbnail from the following page?
