I'm havin problems when writing a new the visual option seems to be like disabled, but I did not touch anything and I tried 2.5 version and I had no problems...
Plz help!!!!

Posted 1 year ago #I'm having the same problem, both writing a new post and editing an old one. I can deal with the html, but it's helpful having the visual also.

Posted 1 year ago #im no expert, but try this. go into the "users" tab and click on your name. the first option is the visual editor. if that box is not checked, try checking it. maybe that will do it.

Posted 1 year ago #Same problem here. Visual editor enabled in profile but on the write/edit page I only see code content.
The 'visual' tab is highlighted but the code view buttons are present (the grey text-only ones). Clicking visual and html does nothing.
I have tried replacing all the files in wp-admin, wp-includes and cleared the cache, but the problem remains.

Posted 1 year ago #I think that is database problem related, I upgraded my database at local, and I also had the problem of categories, I decided to delete all the categories and start again. Yesterday I upgraded the same database but without doing nothing at categories and I could see visual... so

Posted 1 year ago #Just to clarify: Using the Visual editor, the html is what shows up. Using the html editor, nothing shows up, unless I highlight the text box. Then I get the same code as in the Visual editor.
