Registration plug-in for a course

I am doing consulting work in need to set up a shopping cart where people can register for a course/training. So I do not need a complex system like easy card because I’m not selling products. Any advice on which plug-in would be best for me? I found magic members and city users. however I can’t find good tutorials on them which I really need. Appreciate any help thank you
