I had a quick look at your site via Firebug. You have an unusually large numbers of CSS errors and following error – “NetworkError: 404 Not Found – http://www.islandrealestate.com/wp-content/themes/wp-admin/colors.min.css”
This wouldn’t help but issue is more likely to be some slow Javascript associated with your childtheme mytwentyten.
You could setup a Javascript trace & watch progress to find slow areas.

I’ve tried all i can (also checked server side) without success. I decided to test on an account with same host though having same problem with delayed spinning wheel with just 1 mail address. Deleted and reinstalled and it works just great on that account.
So – I want to do the same with the account with several mail addresses. Is there a way to delete and reinstall without losing the addresses already created? Thank you.
RE: Is there a way to delete and reinstall without losing the addresses already created?
Not sure what you mean – creating or saving addresses is not something I see in CF7.

Thank you buzztone – my badly formed question – description : ) Each of the forms i create as custom mail forms for individuals that use the site. So CF Form ID=1 – goes to Bob and CF Form ID=29 goes to Sue – depending on the product or service the individual is inquiring about.
I should have asked…is there a way to keep the existing forms which are specifically made to go to individual mail addresses?
Thank you again for your help.
Just as an FYI to the many posts on here about the SPINNING WHEEL issue. We fixed ours simply by DISABLING the Akismet plugin. We had it to help cut down on SPAMMING of our forms and the newest upgrade was what was causing our Contact 7 form problems.
As soon as we deactivated it, Contact Form 7 works perfectly.
Hope this helps others.
CF7 saves any forms you create in the WP database.
If you just delete the CF7 plugin folder, rather than uninstall the plugin, the forms should still be there in the database when you re-install CF7.
Nevertheless I’d take a full backup before you do this just in case.

Just to close this out. I tried the removal of the plugin folder and then the reinstall without success.
After that, before completely uninstalling the plugin, I tried to find the forms in the WP database without success. So at that point i made a manual note of each of the existing forms – uninstalled and reinstalled – cleared cache – logged out and back in – now everything is fine.
I don’t believe the issue was with the plugin. I’m speculating it was database – server related in some way. (The plugin was installed when the site was being redeveloped. During that time the host migrated my account to another server. I believe during that process the DB or plugin install may have been split or corrupted between the original and new server. I’m guessing this because another site on the same server experienced the same issue and was fixed the same way…) If this doesnt make any sense, feel free to correct. : )
I hope this is helpful to someone else.
