    I still love this tool, and your support, regardless of your reply (grin)

    I am working with a table probably too big for this plugin… over 1300+ rows. It’s manageable and it loads in only a few seconds on all browsers… but the ADMIN editor crashes every time because it has no paging. I’ll be importing csv files instead of using the editor, but I can’t even get to the bottom once in order to set hide columns and other options.

    Any chance there is an easy fix, or maybe next release will support the same paging in the editor as we have in the display?

    Hi Jeff,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yeah, the “Edit” screen is indeed slow for large tables, and pagination would be nice there. Unfortunately, there are some technical difficulties regarding the saving of tables that have prevented me from adding that so far.

    However, with importing large tables from CSV files, you are on the right track already. In addition to that, you can now use a small trick to set those checkboxes like “Hide columns” and so on:
    Before doing the actual import, create the table in TablePress as a new table (without the real data, but with the correct number of columns). Then, set the feature checkboxes and hidden columns as desired. Finally, import the CSV file and choose to replace an existing table (the just created table).

    Everything is working better than planned. I think I’ll donate again when the project completes and I get paid. You really saved it! Best plugin I’ve used in years, and fantastic support – despite you being busy with a real life in addition to this tool.
