• Until recently, when I added a photo to my site, I could click on it, click on “edit” and add things, like a border. Now I can’t seem to do that – nothing comes up when I click the photo. How do I now access that sort of thing (also, alt text and caption, and all sorts of stuff)???

  • Hi are you using WordPress 3.9? If so when you click on an image in the editor you should get 2 icons on top left “edit” and “delete”. When you click edit it brings up a dialog to modify alignment, caption and etc. If you toggle advanced settings you can modify it’s title, link and css attributes.

I could click on it, click on “edit” and add things, like a border.

I’ve installed the “Advanced Image Styles” plug in but I can’t work out how to us it. Once I’ve inserted a photo…then what do I do???

They need to put it back, along with the full font color picker. I also noticed that images don’t stay centred when published.
