    Hi Joe,
Great plugin! This is the 1st problem I have had with it. I did a recent update to WP 3.9 and then did the My Calendar update to 2.3.6. I did this on 4 sites. On 2 sites the update was fine. On 2 others I had the exact same problem: the event popups for the mini-calendar AND the large calendar are displayed in popup mode on page load…and they can’t be closed. I rolled back to 2.3.5 on both sites.

One site is using a child theme of Twenty Ten with VERY minimal modifications. The other is using the Tropicala theme (an older theme: http://wordpress.org/themes/tropicala).

Version 2.3.5 is working fine for these sites – so it’s not urgent, but thought you should know about this apparent bug. Given that it happened on 2 of 4 sites, I suspect it may be happening to other people as well.

    Cheers

A bit more information: one of the sites that updated ok is ALSO a child theme of Twenty Ten, and both Twenty Ten child theme sites (one that updated ok and one that didn’t) are located on the same server. It’s also worth mentioning, the Twenty Ten child theme site that updated ok has been much more heavily modified. Weird.

This usually has something to do with enqueueing of jQuery, but without seeing your site/sites, I can’t really be more specific. I’d have to see what’s happening in your specific case.

    Hi Joe,
Thanks for the quick response! The 2 sites are:
    http://blog.reversegearinc.com/
    http://mindfulnesspeterborough.ca/

…I rolled both of them back to 2.3.5 so you won’t see the problem. If you need me to update one of them so you can see the problem, let me know.

    Cheers

Don’t worry about it; it’s a bug, fixed in 2.3.7, just released.
