• I installed wordfence security onto all of my wordpress sites recently. All is working great except for 2 sites. What happens is when you go to those 2 sites in IE you received a user/pass popup box.

The only difference with those 2 sites is that I have an extra layer of security on the admin screen that makes you put in a different user/pass before your wordpress user/pass. This is all controlled by my .htaccess file & is recommended by my hosting so that it prevents bruteforce logins. And was added in because my system automatically locks out users after 5 incorrect tries for the next 20 minutes. So on heavy brute force days it was impossible to login as the 20 minutes would keep resetting.

This .htaccess extra layer fixed that. However, having that installed & wordpress security a user/pass box pops up in just IE. Is this something that I need to adjust with my wordfence? For now I disabled wordfence on these 2 sites & all worked ok immediately after deactivating.
