    Hi! This looks like a great plugin but, I seem to be having some problems. This is my first installation of google analytics and it seems that the new Google Universal Analytics is much more complicated than the old version.

    I have installed the plugin and it is active. I entered my Tracking ID and selected the options under the “Universal Analytics” setting and clicked the “save changes” button. Every time I click it gives the message “Options Saved.” Then for some strange reason the “status” goes from on to off. I thought that maybe I had to add the new universal code to the “custom tracker” section but, this does the same moving from on to off.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Do I need to select options in both the “Universal Analytics” and “Custom Tracker” section for the plugin to work?

    Do I need to add the tracking code manually for the plugin to work?

    I am new to analytics so, I am sure the problem is my doing. I tried upgrading my google analytics account. I keep getting a message that the demographics won’t work unless I add the code line:

    ga(‘require’, ‘displayfeatures’);

    to my Tracking Code in my account. I have tried to do this but, there isn’t a “Save” button to update the changes. I am ready to scream 🙂 Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

    Hello Jody,

    The only option required is “Universal Analytics”, no need to use “Custom Tracker” if there is no need for that. That is a separate setting.

    Would you mind giving access to your WordPress panel? I would be able to say more if I actually see what is happening there 🙂 Submit your message at: http://onlineads.lt/contact-us/ Let me know.

    Hi Jody,

    Yes, I did receive it. Thanks!

    I logged in and enabled your tracker. Tracking code is now added to your website. Check it out and let me know whether it works for you as well.

    Hi, I’m having the same exact problem as Jody, and I’ve tried everything she has tried, but cannot seem to save my code. Can you help me out Audrius?

    Hi,

    Can you give me access to your WordPress panel as Jody did? Submit your message at: http://onlineads.lt/contact-us/ Let me know.

    Also, what is your WordPress version and what browser do you use?

    Marking as resolved. New plugin version 2.3.0.2 fixes this issue.
