WP 2.6 after-install parse error.

    Help!!

    After installing wordpress 2.6, I get this error on wp-admin

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_SL in /var/www/.wordpress/wp-admin/includes/media.php on line 840

    This is line 840:

    <<<<<<< .mine

    I updated using subversion.

    I had the same problem with the update to 2.6.1, but with Akismet. I deleted the akismet folder, ran “svn up”, it downloaded a fresh copy and everything worked fine.
