New to wordpress

have spent hours on you tube watching tutorials but….

trying to teach myself wordpress, im using the standard responsive theme with static pages. Ive happily created 4-5 pages, worked out the menu with drop downs etc. but…

I have run into a problem when trying to alter the right hand sidebar, basically I don’t want every page to have the same layout, especially the right hand side bar, each page will have the same booking engine on the very top right hand side, but underneath I want different text/content relating to that individual page. Every time I try and change the widget layout for that page it changes all pages.

Can I have unique right hand sidebars for each page or is this not possible for the standard responsive theme ?

I have tried to do this the following way – open the page I want to change, click appearance – widgets – right sidebar.

Any advice greatly appreciated.
