Substitute user-friendly shortcode plugin?

    Hi,

    I’m building a website for a friend who does not know any coding, not even HTML. There is a linked image at the sidebar (In a text widget) that he wants to update weekly.

    The only solution I can think of is putting a substitute code in the widget, e.g. [imagelinkhere1], [imageurlhere1], have him insert the URLs into a user-friendly text box, and have WP replace the substitute code with his user input URLs so he can constantly update the links without touching code.

    Does anyone know of an existing plugin that can do this?
