• With NextGEN as the only active plugin and using the Twenty fourteen theme, the TinyMCE editor breaks in Internet Explorer 11. The editing menu and the content disappears. It works fine in IE 9, Crome and Firefox. In IE 10 it Works, but the editor area becomes several pages long.

This happens on two different sites on two different hosts. When deactivating NextGEN gallery, the isue disappears.

  • I have a WordPress network and the same is happening to only a handful of sites as mentioned above after upgrading to wordpress 3.9.

Disabling the nextgen gallery plugin allows the visual editor to act as normal but when re-activated it strips the visual editor again.

This isn’t browser specific for me as its happening on multiple browsers that i have checked.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

I updated NextGEN Gallery to Version 2.0.65, but the issue is still there.

@macaulus – As your description of the issue is different than the OP I would suggest starting your own topic to address it.

    Thanks!

@Ulfsby Webdesign – We test in all of the major browsers (including IE11) and we are not seeing what you are reporting … are there any other specifics you can add to this?

It works fine on IE 11 on a PC with Windows 8, but not on a PC with Windows 7. The IE 10 issue is on another PC with Windows 7. It works fine on Crome and Firefox on a PC with Windows 7.
