Performance after a migration
-
I have a cuestion. I normally build my wordpress site in a temporary directory, for example: http://www.mydomain.com/wordpress.
After I finish completly my site I do a fresh installation and re-build all practically from the ground, just with the final files.
I know there is another options, like this:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory#Using_a_pre-existing_subdirectory_installMy cuestion is, if this last method allows the same performance as the method that I use.
I have recently build a more complex page, and I will trie the method from the link, but I want to be sure that the performance (most of all, speed) are not affected.
Thanks!
