• Hi. I just installed WordPress 2.6 fresh. I imported my posts from a WordPress Export file.

When I do the following custom “pretty” permalink it works fine:
    /%category%/%postname%/

However, when I do one of the presets:
    /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/

It doesn’t work. It gives me an error:
    No input file specified.

Does this have something to do with importing? Please help!

    *Nudge*

I’m still having this issue, however I’ve realized something new:

As long as the date doesn’t enter into the permalink structure, I’m fine. But even when I use the category/postname permalink, the post archives don’t work for some reason. So when I go to September 2004, it’s dead.

    Any ideas about this?

I did a little research on the forums, but I haven’t found anything specifically related to this issue. I tried doing just category/postname, and it works fine. Any ideas as to why dates complicate the issue?

Right now I’m using the default “ugly” permalinks and it’s working. I wish I could fix this.
