We run an onlineshop and using your plugin too. Today customers told us they can’t order anymore, the order-button disappear on checkout-site. Our checks in the log shows that all is working fine until update on 2.19.4 – a few days there are no other updates.

We tested now in the liveshop with old version 2.19.3 – all is working.

Then check in demo-shop with 2.19.4 – cart and checkout don’t work.

We are using Woocommerce and some other plugins. It seems you’ve implemented in the new version something which is affecting our shop.
We never had such problems with your plugin – it’s the first time.

We can’t give more details information, we are no developers.

I can’t seem to checkout on either site.

Please provide specific directions on how to use your site. Screenshots would be great.

Also, the 2.19.4 update had nothing to do with scripting. It was more a clean up of readme and the settings page.

    See https://github.com/michael-cannon/testimonials-widget/compare/2.19.3…2.19.4.

    Live-Shop with 2.19.3:
    1. http://alpensepp.com/kaeseshop/kaese-box-wuerzig-testpaket
    2. Click on “In den Warenkorb”
    3. Widget “Warenkorb” appear on sidebar and in Header
    4. Click in Sidebar – Warenkorb on Button “Zur Kasse”
    5. Checkout-Site opens with order-button on footer “HIER klicken und zahlungspflichtig bestellen.

    ALL IS WORKING

    Demo-Shop with 2.19.4:
    1. http://testshop.alpensepp.com/produkt/kaese-box-gross-testpaket
    2. Click on “In den Warenkorb”
    3. Widget “Warnkorb” don’t appear in sidebar or is empty. In Header product is in cart
    4. Click on header “cart” and open cart – no product is in there
    5. Again – http://testshop.alpensepp.com/produkt/kaese-box-gross-testpaket an Click on “In den Warenkorb”
    6. Nothing more happend or product is in header-cart and you can klick there on “Zur Kasse”
    7. Checkout site don’t contain a order-button in footer. Customer can’t buy the wanted products.

NOTHING IS WORKING. After going back on 2.19.3 all is working. This is the kind of doing how we find out which plugin is causing this problem.

In a new quick check, I’m stumped.

Are you positive the dev site is a clean copy of live except for the Testimonials by Aihrus 2.19.4 vs. 2.19.3 version?

Once you’ve confirmed or remade live as a dev copy, send admin and FTP login to support@aihr.us.

This issue is irritating as there was no real code changes. It was more cosmetics.

Can you please try installing https://github.com/michael-cannon/testimonials-widget/archive/2.19.5RC1.zip?

    Hi Folks,

I’m having the same problem with V 2.19.4 and Woocommerce 2.0.20. It appears to be affecting the AJAX parts of the shop pages (Add to Cart button, shipping and payment sections of Checkout, etc.).

I first got a message from a customer that they couldn’t complete the checkout page (no payment or shipping options appeared). They then noticed that those options did appear for about 2 seconds then disappeared. This was while the AJAX spinner was visible, then the section disappeared.

I checked which plugins I had recently updated, and disabled one at a time until Woocommerce was operating as expected. Turns out it was 2.19.4. I reinstalled 2.19.3 and appears to be fine now.

I wish I could let you play in the admin, but this is my live site so I had to revert to 2.19.3 to make sure orders come in.

    Thanks!
    Matt

p.s. Just noticed that this may be a theme issue. My live site has the problem (using custom theme), but my online dev site (based on Twenty Ten theme) does not. Hmmm

@highrollerusa: If you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic instead of tagging onto someone else’s topic.

@esmi: Sorry I was just trying to help the developer with as much information as possible since I’m using the same configuration and seeing the same issue as the OP.

I’m afraid that’s not how things work around here. In reality, issues with similar symptom can have completely different root causes. So please post your own topics.

    Thank you.
