    Hi,

So I've updated my blog to 2.6 and I now have a problem with the flash media uploader. I've been using it for a while now without any problem, but ever since I updated to 2.6 it doesn't work anymore. Here's how it goes:

    - It does show up, and I can click and select a file.
    - Then, it seems to be sent to the server & I see the "Crunching" message
    - but then, when the page with the thumbnails and the options (title, desc, thumb/full size, etc) should be seen, I get the screen asking me to log in instead !!

I have no idea why. It worked before, I didn't change my flash version or my browser (FF3), and in fact it does work on another blog I just updated to 2.6 as well, which happens to be on the same server (so same config) to make things even more confusing!

I tried removing all cookies and logging in again, doesn't change. And yes, my updates are done removing wp-admin & wp-includes and reuploading ALL the new files, and the DB has been updated successfully.

Could there be some setting somewhere that could do that ? For what I see, the parameters sent to the flash uploader (found in the HTML page creating the object through jQuery) contains valid data, as it's the same thing (login|stuff|morestuff) as I have in my cookie.

Where could that come from ? Any help please ??
I know I can use the Browser uploader, but I really like this one & I gotten used to it...

PS: I tried things mentioned here (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/165038) as it seems to be the same problem, but it didn't work.

Compare the list of plugins...try disabling some. I have no idea if this will work but it's one area where your two blogs on the same server/same WP version might differ.

FWIW I tried everything, including disabling all plugins and the .htaccess rewrite. To no avail.
