In Homepage/Frontpage settings I have a single posts category selected.
And it says: “Only posts that belong to the categories selected here will be displayed on the front page.”

I confirmed only one category is highlighted in blue.

But when I go to view the site (refreshed the page, restarted the browser, etc) it shows all the posts from the sites including the posts not assigned to the selected category.

I confirmed in WordPress admin pages that only one post has the selected category, so only that should show up, not the other posts.

The “Enable latest Posts or Page” checkbox works – if I turn it off, zee zero posts. But turning it on and selecting a category ends up showing posts in all categories.

Is there any way to debug this? I can change the PHP code if necessary on my test site.
