unique / generated digital download link

is it possible for woocommerce to generate a unique digital product download link after the purchase? I have a product which is a link to another site, which is generated on the fly and contains timestamped, user specific details which have to be generated on demand. I want to be able to change the download mechanism to support this kind of one-use download. Is there an existing plugin for this, documentation on how to modify the existing system, or any other examples on how I can achieve this?
