  • Suggest you look at the S2Member plugin. This allows you to require a login for all or just some of the content on your website. I tested the free version. Have not tested the premium version but am planning to use it on an upcoming project. The downside (as I recall) of the free version is that they add their logo to your WP login form, and use this form for all user logins. The premium version offers more login form customization.

    I think you misunderstood me about the content part. I meant it like tumblr and sites like that. Maybe I wrote my question wrong but now I hope you understand…

    Although I think you can do this with s2member, you might also look at the “Private Only” plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/private-only/, which appears to be more targeted at what you are trying to do (and possibly simpler for you to configure). (I have not used this plugin.)
