Well my turn to complain.
Upgraded to 2.6 yesterday, all ok.
Uploaded an image and no thumbnail - turns out the thumbnail is there but its looking at the wrong location.
The default images are wp-content/uploads.
But mine has been set to /images (custom) - this worked fine up till 2.51.
But 2.6 seems not to understand that the image location is /images and not wp-content/uploads.
Anyone know a quick fix for this other than resetting the image location back to the default.
Resolved by adding full url to the custom directory.

I tried adding a full path URL to my site however this still does now work
The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/website.info/subdomains/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads.
I had this as the full path
http://www.website.info/wp-content/resources

Same here, I added a full path and no go.
Upload goes successful, says it's uploaded, but nothing is on the server...

hotkee... you say you added the full url. What does the full URL look like?
is it http://yourdomain.com/images
or yourdomain.com/images
or /yourdomain.com/images
?
