    This is using the latest versions of everything: WP 3.9, AdRotate 3.9.9, Current database version: 40.

    I have disabled and re-enabled the plugin and it had no effect.

    There are several ads that were added a couple of years ago, 2012, and I can not change the schedule. I figured out you can not set it beyond 2038, and that is fine, but it only shows that it is scheduled until 2038 on the Manage Ads page. On the ad details page, it still shows that it expires in 2013, and the ads do not show on the site.

    I have figured out a work around to extend the ad for a year using the dropdown, but that only works for a year.

    Any ideas what the issue could be?

    AdRotate doesn’t work with schedules. Only AdRotate Pro does.
    You can edit the start and end date when you edit the advert.

    The date can not be later then approximately Jan 1 2038 indeed. Thats when the UNIX Epoch ends.

    Sorry for the confusion, I didn’t mean the schedules feature, I’m just using the start and end dates. When I set the end date to a date in 2030, it is not saving the setting properly. The new end date is shown on the Manage Ads page, but when I go in to view the details of the ad, the end date still shows a date in 2013.

    Also, is there a way to just not have an end date? It wouldn’t fix whatever this bug is, but it would solve my problem.

    Sounds like your database is broken. Check your error_log and see if anything mentions AdRotate. Probably a missing column or something.

    Re-installing the plugin will be easiest then.

    And no, adverts require an end date.

    Hmm, everything else works fine. I tried deactivating and deleting the plugin and reinstalling it, which deleted all the ads, so then I imported the ads into the database from a backup. The start and end dates were all reset back to January 1, 1970, except two (odd). I tried updating the dates but it still does the same thing.

    At least the “extend for one year” works, but if we can figure this issue out it would be better.

    I’m the owner of the sites using your plugin. I’d consider the paid version except I can’t afford to pay for every single site. Even your bundles are too much for me. I have tons of sites many that don’t make any money at all.

    Anyway, my website coder deleted the plugin & reinstalled it & used the backedup version to put back the ads.

    He says we are still encountering the same issue.

    What should we do next to solve this issue?

    Oh, and there are no errors in the error log, just a couple of warning from the theme and theme plugins – not causing any problems there.

    Which version of AdRotate do you use? Pro or Free? And if pro – Do you select a schedule? if not, that’s the problem.

    If you’re not using AdRotate Pro I have no idea what’s going on if there is no error logged.

    It’s the free version, as I already stated why I haven’t purchased the pro version.

    So you can’t fix your plugin, is that correct?

    Perhaps you didn’t understand me when I said I am the owner of these sites that are having issues.

    Do you understand now?

    And the bug in this plugin has cost me money, b/c who knows how many months went by while it wasn’t working.

    @ep2012 perhaps you should use the same account consistently so there is no confusion.
    I don’t think you mentioned you have multiple sites neither did you link to the one in question. So how are we to know who you are and what your sites are.

    Now to respond to your post, I’m not aware of a bug with start/end dates so drawing the conclusion that I can’t “fix the plugin” is a bit premature.
    If there is a consistent error with saving ads there may be a bunch of errors in your servers error_log. Anything that mentions AdRotate in there is interesting.
    This may lead to a bug or other issue which I can then resolve.

    No sorry, his account is his & vice versa. That’s why I explained from the getgo who I was. I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear that I was referring to Chris’ post. I thought saying I was the owner would suffice.

    I did tell you I have tons of sites hence me not being able to afford your paid version. I already checked into the prices.

    The only reason I jumped to that conclusion of you not being able to fix it, is b/c of what you said.

    So I’m glad at least you know the bug exists. : )

    So you want him to search all the logs?

    Is there an easy way to do this? Sorry, again, I’m not a techie, I’m the owner, so I don’t know how complicated this is to do.

    This issue has been fixed in version 3.9.10
