   Hi.

   When i try to upgrade my wordpress blog and push the Click Here to upgrade i get a blank page from automatic upgrade and what it has done is create the wpau-backup folder with to empty files, index.php & index.html and it stops dead in it's track, no error, anywhere.

   The odd thing is that i got another blog on same server same configuration and there all went ok.

   I deactivated all plugins except automatic upgrade, put permissaion to 777 and made shure it is the same owner on everyyhing, it is the same owner as for the other blog that went ok.

   Is there a debug option for automatic upgrade so i can see what has gone wrong or anyone that have an idea about what it can be?

   Update, actually found an error in the log file se below:
   PHP Warning: [function.dir]: failed to open dir: Permission denied in wordpress-automatic-upgrade/wpau_zip.class.php on line 95

   It looks like a permission error but i have same security configuration both of these blogs.

   With the latest version of this plugin and the option to skip filebackup i manage to upgrade the wordpress to the latest.

   So it has something to do with the filebackup step.
