Different authors?

    Just a quick question. I currently run my own blog site but have a couple friends who are interested in adding to it, the thing is they dont want there articles to show up on the main page (and overlap my articles), they would rather have there posts show up on a different section?

    Is this at all possible with wordpress where I can assign an author his own blog page persay? Or would something like this have to be set up using pages?
