STAY AWAY! (I cannot get into wordpress dashboard now)

    I have been using this plug-in for a long time (2 years at least) but After updating to the last version, Right now I cannot access to my wordpress dashboard at all. It says “Page not found” even though it was working just before updating! Last version mess everything up, there is a problem probably with wp-login.php?qe34km6….. but I cannot figure it out how to make it as usual wp-login.php now!

    Version: 4.0.21 is the latest version that I updated lastly.

    NOTE: I have solved the problem by editing htaccess and delete everything related to Better WP Security…

    Hey Oray,

    I’m sorry you’ve run into this issue. You can try clearing your .htaccess of all iThemes Security rules and re-save your settings. Also, I’d suggest updating to the most current version of 4.1.3.

    Same issue here. I just had to access cPanel and delete the plugin via the File Manager because I couldn’t access my site any more. Up until the most recent update I didn’t have any issues with this plugin. I am too nervous to reinstall it again at this point, just in case it screws up my WordPress dashboard again.
