    Since the update to ver 3.9 “Smith” the Easy Columns plugin no longer works with the admin interface to insert code. The insert functionality is broken. I have tried deactivating ALL plugins, and it still does not work alone with WP core. I have updated the plugin from wordpress.org but it still does not work. I have even tried removing the plugin and re-installing a fresh copy from wordpress.org, but that does not work either.

    Interestingly enough the plugin seems to be working properly on the user side, just not able to use the GUI admin. Manual insertion of HTML code into the page editor accomplishes the purpose, but this makes no sense. A quick update to the plugin would certainly be beneficial to all concerned.
